I would like to connect with petroglyph hunters in the Phoenix Metro area to help me search out some little known/hard to get to petroglyphs in the surrounding area. I do a lot of research, sometimes a recon trip to check out access to the locations and then hike in the early AM on weekends to find them. 
As you know most of the hiking is off trail and involves serious rock hopping. Experienced desert hiking, researching and navigation skills are a big plus.
I have a large collection of site location info and all the BLM maps for most of the state. Lets combine resources and see what we can find.

Went for a walk very early this morning over to an island of hills surrounded by houses. Some research showed 89 petroglyphs in the area. I managed to find about 60, here a some pics of some of the neater ones.
